Milton fall short in finale, finish in second place

Orangeville Generals and Milton Chaos closed out the OJMFLL regular season on Sunday with a showdown to decide first place. Each team won their first game of the day and had records of 8-2-1.

With the top seed for the playoffs on the line it was the Generals who finished on top defeating Milton 10-6.

Milton Chaos (8-3-1) will face third place Oshawa Blue Knights (8-4-0) in one semifinal on Sunday. The game is scheduled for 10:45 AM at the Oshawa Civic Recreation Complex. The winner advances to the championship game at 4:00 PM.

In their three head-to-head games during the regular season Milton ended up winning twice. Oshawa won the first game of the season 9-8 on September 12.

The teams met again on October 3 with Milton Chaos winning 14-10. In the third matchup on October 17 it was again Chaos coming out on on top 9-7.
